NBA Trade Rumors: Who Will Utah Jazz Deal Away to Free Up Logjam Down ...

NBA Trade Rumors Will Ignite With Utah Jazz Packed FrontcourtAl Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Mehmet Okur, Derrick Favors, Enes Kanter: the Utah Jazz have depth for days down low. The same couldn't be said about their perimeter players though. Besides Devin Harris and the up and coming Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks, they don't have much.Andrei Kirilenko is a free agent and a shell of his former self. C.J. Miles is a free agent too and isn't very talented to begin with. Raja Bell is 34 years old and can't do anything besides play defense and hit spot up threes.By time the season comes around, the Jazz are going to have to trade away one or two of their big men to find some better perimeter players.READ MORE: Why the Wiz Kids Could Potentially Contend for PlayoffsObviously Favors and Kanter are part of the future so they're not going to be put on the trade block. Al Jefferson is the most talented of the bunch by far so he's safe too. That leaves Millsap and Okur to be dealt.A swap with the Grizzlies could be an option. Giving up Paul Millsap for a guy like O.J. Mayo would be a huge lift to the Jazz scoring load who have no dangerous three point shooters whatsoever. The Grizzlies need front court depth and almost traded Mayo at the trade deadline for Josh McRoberts so there's no doubt that Memphis would accept the deal. The Detroit Pistons are a team who would gladly trade for Okur with their need at center. They've been trying to get rid of Richard Hamilton for what seems like years. The more scoring the better for a Jazz team that is currently lacking. If those two hypothetical trades went down, the Jazz would have a core of Harris, Mayo, Hamilton, Bell, Heyward, Favors, Jefferson, and Kanter and that's without messing with free agency. If they make the right moves, Utah could be back in the playoffs in no time. David Daniels is a Featured Columnist at Bleacher Report and a Syndicated Writer. Follow him on Twitter.
